I finished the friends cut. I mostly cut people who didn't comment to the entry regarding the friends cut and the people who haven't updated in a while. There are absolutely no hard feelings in all of this.

I'm actually not sure how many of y'all actually live in the Phoenix area, but I wanted to share something with y'all, and maybe those of you in Phoenix can help.

A friend of mine from high school is getting married on Saturday. I've been friends with Natalie since elementary school, she is seriously one of the nicest people I've ever met.

This past weekend, the house that she shares with her fiance burned to the ground. Thankfully, both Natalie and Jake made it out okay. However, they lost their pit bull and ferrets in the fire along with all of their other possessions. The insurance that they have only covers the physical house and nothing that was inside.

Here's a message from a mutual friend of ours with info on the car wash that they're holding this Thursday to raise money:

Come wash cars with us this Thursday morning starting at 8:30am
at the Arby's on 20th St. & Bell Road.

It is so important that we get as many people as we can to go. Even if it just to get your car washed. My amazing friend of 9 years, Natalie Mendoza and her fiance Jake lost everything they owned the weekend before their wedding.. including their loved pit bull Malee and her 4 ferrets... in a house fire. It destroyed everything. Please come raise money with us to help Natalie and Jake start a new life.

If you live in the area, please go get your car washed. A few bucks will make the difference.

I really never wanted to do one of these because I get along with all of you on different levels. But those of you that have been cut, I just don't feel like we're clicking anymore. You don't read my journal, I don't read yours, and there's no commentage from either one of us. This way, it'll save us both some room on the flist.

So the icon making is on an indefinite hiatus. Because my computer was running like crap, Char suggested that I get rid of PSP7 seeing as how it was a pirated version. Since then, things have been running much better.

Unfortunately, I didn't finish the House cast icons. There are 63 as opposed to the 130 I had planned. There are actually quite a few of them that I don't like (mostly because I was working with new coloring ideas, and I hadn't quite figured out what I liked yet), and there's at least two icons of Jesse that are exactly the same base. Oops. And some of them are foggier then I would like. Oh well. Can I just say though how much I enjoyed working with the pictures of Jen? Mostly because they were larger and gave me room to do fun cropping. But also? How stinkin' cute is she?

Regardless, here are Hugh, Jennifer, Jesse, and Omar for your viewing pleasure.

I've decided that I should just post the icons that I have done because it might be a while before I make more since my computer is on the fritz. I may, however, try and figure out how to use Adobe Photoshop. I don't know.
